So people say time changes people. Well I would say yes and no. For most bad decisions you've made, you probably say "If I could go back in time, I totally wouldn't do that". There are still bad decisions you've made that you would make AGAIN! So in my opinion time doesn't really change people, it may just change their perception of just how bad, bad is... For example if you took candy from a baby once, then after a while you must've thought why'd I do that. But the sad thing is if you really wanted candy one day you'd probably do it again... So I was listening to the song Concrete Angel (and admittedly tearing up) and the lyrics got me thinking. How many instances of child abuse happen where everyone who can prevent it just looks away. The lyric "The teacher wonders but she never asks." shows exactly what I mean. If a person can see assume that something may be going on, is it really that hard to ask?! I mean, child abuse is simply a horrendous thing! If a child doesn't die at the hands of their GUARDIAN they go through the rest of their lives scarred! It isn't fair to put an innocent child through this kind of torture. I feel like this issue is being addressed, but not nearly
